Inspired by the centennial of the 1918 influenza pandemic, the Harvard Global Health Institute hosted Outbreak Week in September 2018 at Harvard University. The week-long conference brought leading researchers, policy makers, health advocates, economists, doctors, journalists, historians and other experts together to take a fresh, multidisciplinary look at infectious disease outbreaks and global pandemic preparedness.
